Player Tags
This page describes an optional integration. If the Player Tags field is left empty, or you haven't installed the Player Tags asset at all, each tag dropdown simply shows "No Player Tags" and nothing else needs configuring — the Bouncer System works exactly the same, with no errors.
If the separate Player Tags asset is also in your world, the Bouncer System can show a floating tag above a player's head automatically — see that asset's docs for what a tag is and how to build one.
Setting It Up
- Select the object holding
BS_PlayerTagsand drag your world'sPL_PlayerTagsinto its Player Tags field. - Pick a tag from each dropdown. Both list every tag defined on your Player Tags setup:
- Security Tag — shown while a player holds security privileges.
- Access Tag — shown while a player is verified but not security.
- Make sure that
BS_PlayerTagsobject is assigned in Player Tags onBS_BouncerSystem.
Leave a dropdown on "No Player Tags" to show no tag for that state.
One Tag At A Time
A player only ever shows one tag. Security is the senior state, so a player who is both verified and security only shows the Security Tag — their Access Tag is replaced, not stacked. Tags update the moment a player's state changes.
